Review
After being in a MAJOR reading slump for months, this 5-star read (I'd rate it a 6-star if I could) pulled me back into the magic of reading; *𝘥𝘳𝘶𝘮 𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘴*: Picking Daisies on Sundays.
I've read various romance novels from multiple authors, but I can assure you that this one is nowhere close to them. This one is soft and emotional. This rom-com has just a special something to it: the cute and innocent kind of love as Daisy and Levi go from best friends to lovers. The quick stolen glances, holding hands and racing heartbeats at the sight of Levi, have got hold of my heart; I feel like I've time-travelled back to the 1900's, and experiencing old-fashioned love.
But what truly melted my heart? The part where Levi wrote a WHOLE poetry book... in FRENCH... about DAISY! What's more is that he never meant for her to find it. That kind of love? The kind that doesn't need to be loud but real? Priceless!
This book feels like a soft morning breeze, a field of blooming daisies, like the quiet hum of a love song you haven't heard in years, but still remember every word of. And I can't help but feel that this is officially one of my new favourite reads.
Part of me believe that everybody should read this novel at least once in their life.
